last week, mommy was able to feel a lil snag on reiken's gum... and then after careful inspection everyday since then, here it is, just breaking through...

the left one just broke skin... and the right one is following right along...

so its a typical tuesday evening and on our way home from work, ms. le suggests we give reiken a trim and that she's more than willing to do it for mommy..."should be real quick" she says...

another hot day in texas!

happy fourth everyone - hope you all had a good one! we skipped the fireworks this year so no pix but we have plenty from the rest of the week. so this past week, it was mommy's birthday and reiken got to celebrate it for the first time, and making it the best one yet! then a/c went out so the family spent the 4th indoors waiting for the a/c man to change out the motor! but just today, he completed his first reverse-flip from tummy to back. it was quite exciting but unfortunately, camera was not available. he now also talks and rambles all day long now.. sign of things to come...

if only i could get past these arms...

its been 1 whole week since chi tram has been babysittin and between all the fun chats, naps and sudoku puzzles, (oh yeah, reiken naps too), reiken seems to have adapted effortlessly and loves his days with chi tram!

so we noticed that reiken has learned to transfer an object from hand to the other now.. then of course stick it in his mouth. we kinda sorta captured it on video, but not so much of the actual transfer so just imagine that part. oh, and he can now semi-flip... haha, yes, as you can see, these arms of his seem to be just one giant speed-bump... but hopefully like all speed bumps, he'll make it over eventually!
