its been 1 whole week since chi tram has been babysittin and between all the fun chats, naps and sudoku puzzles, (oh yeah, reiken naps too), reiken seems to have adapted effortlessly and loves his days with chi tram!
so we noticed that reiken has learned to transfer an object from hand to the other now.. then of course stick it in his mouth. we kinda sorta captured it on video, but not so much of the actual transfer so just imagine that part. oh, and he can now semi-flip... haha, yes, as you can see, these arms of his seem to be just one giant speed-bump... but hopefully like all speed bumps, he'll make it over eventually!
after a really fun father's day weekend, reiken, drew and collin finally got reunited... the last time these 3 met, they were all in utero... this time around they got to eat together, play together, get grouchy together and then finally nap together, and then of course, they did it all over again... check out some of the fun times in the slide show... and notice all the hand-holdin... looks likes these guys might be BFFE's ... forever!
daddy's first father's day! (this outfit did not last however but at least we got a pic before the poo did!) hope everyone had a good one!
congratulations to chi tram!! she just graduated cum laude this past tuesday from summit hs in mansfield. mommy wanted to take reiken too but forgot about the darn car base again so mommy had to leave early, so can't wait to celebrate and party with her soon.
reiken and mommy also got to go have dinner with co hang, hailey, co trisha, chu viet and vincent. it was so fun, weird that we all have kids now ... so much has changed! too bad reiken was knocked out most of dinner but at least mommy got to 'get her munch down'! special thanks again to chu viet, co trisha and vincent for picking us up and letting us borrow that coveted car base!
finally, daddy got to come back and visit for the weekend. we sure have missed him! chi tram is gonna start babysittin monday! we loved spending time with ong/ba ngoai, getting to see reiken's cousins everyday and mommy is gonna miss getting to carpool with di dung, di le, and mo hiep. We are so lucky and grateful that the whole family was able to take care of us the last month but we will officially be back at home, at least for now... can't wait - it's gonna be a fun summer!

this was another night hangin out with mommy... these sweet giggles turned into high-pitched screams the next day, unfortunately not yet captured on film (compliments of a fun day with di tweetie)... to be continued...
what an eventful past few days! reiken got to spend the afternoon chillin with his roadDAWG collin - happy 1-month collin!!
then had his 4 month checkup ... here are his stats: length: 24" - up 2 1/2" and in the 10-25% head size: 17.5" - now in the 95% weight: 16.15lbs - 75-95%, gain of >5 lbs since his last checkup! (and no, contrary to popular belief, he's not the michelin baby.)
